Driver's License and Registration of Vehicles in Pennsylvania
Even if you do have an international license you will eventually have to re-take your driving test. If you buy a car, or bring it into the state, you will need to register the car in Pennsylvania. For information on obtaining a driving license and vehicle registration visit the PA Department of Motor Vehicles.
Car Insurance
Pennsylvania has one of the highest car insurance rates in the U.S. It is astronomical, particularly for people with no U.S. driving history. Shop around carefully!
